I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Economics of UT Austin.
My research interests are in Empirical Industrial Organization, Transportation Economics, and Reinforcement Learning.
I study how to better design digital platforms to solve problems in transportation markets. In scooter markets, I developed a novel reinforcement learning algorithm to compute counterfactual flexible pricing equilibria with hundreds of prices per firm to study the distributional consequences of price controls. In the trucking market, I study the optimal design of cancellation policies for an online procurement auction platform, which directly influences the efficiency of the spot market.
